Autoclaves, instruments and programs

What it does

• Autoclaves: name, maker, model, serial number, class (B, N, S), last service date and last verification date.
• Instruments: types and sets with their category (turbine, contra-angle, surgery…), risk class, whether they have channels (they need a Helix test), what a set contains and, if you want, a shelf life different from the practice's.
• Programs: temperature, holding time and pressure, for example Prion 134 °C, 18 min, or 121 °C, 20 min for heat-sensitive items.
• A new practice starts with the usual dental instrument types and sets and these two programs, which you change to match yours.
• What you no longer use is deactivated, not deleted, so the register stays readable.

How to use it

Settings, then Autoclaves, Instruments or Programs. Add a new one, or choose a row to change it.

Limits

• No separate log of autoclave services and verifications yet: only the last date of each.
