The path of one pouch

Four moments, each written in the register with the time and the person. Nobody retypes what the step before already recorded.

    Pack

    Choose the instrument or set. Every pouch gets its own code and a QR label, printed on A4 or on a label printer.

  2. 02

    Sterilize

    Scan the pouches into the load, pick the autoclave and the program. The cycle number is suggested from the last one, and you correct it to match the machine.

    Release

    Check the ticket, the class 6 indicator and that the pouches are intact and dry, or import the autoclave's text report. A named person releases the load. A failed cycle sends its pouches back to be packed again.

    Use on a patient

    At the chair, scan the pouch. Trasa refuses one that is expired or already used, and links a sterile one to the patient's record number.

What an inspection receives

The record an inspection asks for, kept as you work rather than rebuilt the night before: who sterilized what, in which autoclave and cycle, when, and on which patient it was used.

The register as a PDF
For a period, a cycle or a patient: every cycle with its ticket, indicators, load and the person who released it, the control tests of each day, and every use on a patient. Patient names can be left out.
A register that shows changes
Each line carries a fingerprint computed from its content and from the line before. One button recomputes the chain and tells you it is intact, or the line where it stops matching.
The evidence stays attached
Photos of the autoclave printout, exported reports and photos of Bowie-Dick and Helix strips stay with their cycle or test.

  • Scan with what you have

    The phone or tablet camera, a USB barcode reader that types the code, or the keyboard.

  • The day's test is not forgotten

    Start the first load of the day on an autoclave with no passed Helix or Bowie-Dick test, and Trasa tells you.

  • First in, first out

    The Today page lists the sterile pouches that expire first, and what has already expired.

  • No retyping the printout

    Paste the text report of a MELAG or W&H Lisa autoclave and Trasa fills in the cycle. You check it before saving.

One team per practice

Owners, admins and staff each see what their role allows. Someone who works in two practices switches between them, and each practice sees only its own pouches, patients and register.

Questions practices ask

What happens if a pouch has expired?

Trasa will not record it against a patient. It tells you the pouch expired and that it has to be repacked and sterilized again.

Do we have to write patient names?

No. The practice's record number is enough; the name is optional. Reports for a period leave names out by default.

Can we import the result from our autoclave?

Yes, for the text reports of MELAG and W&H Lisa autoclaves: paste or upload the report and check the fields. For other makers, attach the photo or PDF of the printout while we learn their format from real files.

What if the internet is down?

Trasa needs a connection. There is no offline mode yet.

What equipment do we need?

A phone, tablet or computer with a recent browser. The camera scans the QR codes, or a USB barcode reader does. Labels print on A4 sheets or on a label printer.

Can someone change a record afterwards?

Records are not edited. A correction is a new line in the register, and the register check shows if a line was altered.

We have two practices. Is that one account?

One account per person. Each practice keeps its own team, pouches and register, and you switch between them in the app.
